Storm Restoration Highlights
June 20, 2021 to September 28, 2021 was the start of Agostino Utilities most aggressive storm campaign in company history. Agostino and their team worked 83 out of 101 of those days on storm. Operations ranged in over 10 different states, over 30,000 field operations hours were worked with zero incidents and traffic violations occurring. Agostino recruited almost 70 storm ready resources to support the start of these operation throughout the Northeast.

The summer months brought an unprecedented number of storms to the Michigan this year. With the storm season already heating up. Agostino Utilities crossed into the Midwest supporting Michigan power companies over 13 times in the summer storm season.
Northeastern Remnants of Storm Ida
September 2, 2021
Hurricane Ida Northeastern remnants. New Jersey encountered some of the worst remnants of hurricane IDA. With multiple ef-2 tornadoes and limited resources in the North-East, Agostino Utilities and their men jumped at the occasion to support a neighboring power for the first time in Atlantic City Electric.
August 18, 2021
Agostino Utilities mobilized to Consumers with 60 men as severe thunderstorms battered the state. 3 times in 1 week they made the trip halfway across the country. This proved to be a test in how quickly we could mobilize and simultaneously maintain our equipment. The team and equipment excelled at that test and successfully restored power to hundreds of customers in the state of Michigan.
September 22-24, 2021
After coming off 3.5 weeks of consecutive storms in the northeast, Agostino Utilities quickly re-mobilized to Harrisburg in efforts to help customers in their home state of Pennsylvania. Land geography and power company spec amongst the power company of PPL was second nature on these power companies due to the large number of local resources that were used on this storm.
Tropical Storm Ida
Hurricane Ida was a devastating category 2 tropical storm that made first landfall in Louisiana. Remnants of Hurricane Ida then ripped through the northeast causing mass destruction. With Augustine overseeing his 50 resources in the state of Michigan. Kevin Lamb, one of the northeast’s top storm restoration leaders, was chosen to lead the southern operations. Kevin’s vast experience and leadership skills quickly came about overseeing 20 resources and 1 of Agostino’s top sub-contractors in the city of New Orleans, LA.
